This toolkit is developed in collaboration with its Originator
with the purpose to enable as many people as possible to take action for House Poverty.

About the project

This project was originally designed by Just a Change, a Portuguese NGO that since 2010 runs activities to tackle the challenge of house poverty. More about the project

According to studies by the World Economic Forum, inequality is growing in most parts of the world and families can fall into poverty very easily: a job loss, financial hardship, a death in the family, an increase in cost of living, can create unforeseen challenges. Sometimes, having a house doesn’t mean a person is not living in poor conditions: housing poverty can include lack of reliable or affordable energy, lack of heating/cooling and proper insulation or access to clean water and sanitation facilities.
