This toolkit is developed in collaboration with its Originator with the purpose of supporting local community empowerment and activities.

About the project

This is a 9-month circular and collaborative model created by SNODI in Turin, IT (the program is locally known as Fa Bene MERCATO®).

Thanks to the collection and distribution of healthy food that is donated by local producers, this program improves the well-being of a community by promoting inclusion with transformative and co-designed activities.

More about the project

In cities around the world, inequalities of income, wealth, environmental and social conditions are increasing. It is not easy for all citizens to access sustainable and healthy food and at the same time, feel connected with the local community or neighbourhood.

A high rate of people are at risk of poverty and social exclusion. To address this challenge, it’s important to spread innovative models that aim to reduce inequalities, create opportunities, empower locals, and activate the beneficiaries.
