About the project
Clothes from leftover fabric is a project developed by Quid in Italy. Making clothes in this way reduces waste and expenses for a brand and makes it very easy to pay workers well. Quid works with marginalized groups to increase social inclusion through employment and skills building in the fashion industry.

The fashion industry is a very wasteful industry because of the materials and global infrastructure. This project uses leftover materials from manufacturers that would otherwise be thrown away to create unique pieces of clothing. In this way manufacturers increase the sustainability of their business and increase employment for vulnerable groups in the fashion industry.
